TAPAS-PAELLA-FISH SPECIALITIES

Established in 1967 this is by far the longest running Spanish restaurant in Corralejo and probably the island. The cuisine has changed very little over time merely evolved into the finest example of ‘A La Carte’ tapas. The menu is unspoilt and only offers 100% Spanish plates. The proprietor Francisco delivers tapas from his native city of Madrid and has blended it perfectly with the local canarian specialities.

Antiguo Cafe 05As well as the Tapas the locally caught fish and “Mixed seafood grill” are mouthwatering. Finnally the famous “Paellas” ranging from the seafood dishes to the more traditional meat Peallas such as rabit or the popular chicken and chorizo can be tasted only after reserving in advance.

Antiguo Cafe 02The location on the corner of the old town and it’s views of the marina make this a perfect way one to really feal that they have finally arrived on holiday in this lovely Spanish island.

That is what they do best here. Nowhere in Corralejo can you be spoilt with 50 individual authentic tapas, whilst at the same time enjoy full panoramic views of the marina in the old town.

The prices are impressive with a total of half the menu costing between 2€ and 3€. Specialties of the house are the mouth watering Paella´s and upon request you can choose any type of ingredient so not just seafood thus opening up and endless array of choices.

Finally go ahead and spoil yourself, sit down and enjoy the view with a colourful fish and seafood platter for two, washing down this banquet is made easy with a selection of 30 different Spanish wines on offer daily.
