Fake Passport Arrest

Police arrest Passengers on the Island with false Passports

One man and two women of foreign nationality were arrested this week at Fuerteventura Airport, as their passports appeared to be false, and are accused of crimes of illegal immigration when attempting to board a flight. Three children belonging to this group were also taken into police care.

The Headquarters of Policia Nacional in Fuerteventura confirmed that the passports these three adults had presented at check in were not authentic passports. The accused include a 22-year-old Syrian man, a Swedish woman of 55 years of age and a Kuwaiti woman of 41 years, and have been arrested for crimes of fake identity documents and illegal immigration. It also appears that one of the two women was in charge of the group until they had reached their destination.
