Meliá sells two hotels in La Palma and Fuerteventura

The hotelier Meliá Hotels International has reported today the sale of three hotels in Seville, La Palma and Fuerteventura for 73.4 million euros to the real estate agency Atom Hoteles Socimi

 

In a statement, Meliá reports the sale of the Meliá Sevilla, Sol La Palma and Sol Jandía Mar hotels in Seville, La Palma and Fuerteventura, respectively, to the aforementioned company in which Bankinter participates, among other entities.

 

The hotels will continue to be operated by Meliá Hotels International through rental agreements with variable income for periods of 5 years, with a maximum of 4 extensions at the discretion of Meliá and up to a maximum of 25 years.

The amount of the sale has amounted to 73.4 million, which gives an approximate valuation per room of 66,000 euros. The net book value generated was 6.6 million.
