Ryanair Cancellations.

This week saw the cancellation of four flights in the Canary Islands related to the strike of its pilots in Germany, which also affected Ryanair staff from Belgium, Ireland and Sweden.

Up to publication, the Canary Islands has seen the cancellation of flights linking Gran Canaria with Frankfurt in Germany, and from South Tenerife Airport with Brussels.

However, this strike action is expected to affect almost 400 flights throughout Spain.

This strike can also bring delays resulting from operations with other flights. AENA recommends that passengers consult their flight information in advance if planning to fly with Ryanair over the next few weeks. It also reports that European Union passengers whose flight has been cancelled could be entitled to up to 600 euros in compensation.
